We aim to deal with repairs as soon as possible – or within 24 hours for emergency cases.

Got an emergency repair?

Some problems are emergencies and can’t wait, such as a leak or total loss of heating or power.

For emergencies please call us immediately on 020 3535 3535

Who carries out repairs?

We have our own dedicated in-house repairs and maintenance team, Metworks, who look after all of our properties across London and the East Midlands. In the East of England we work with our contractor Morgan Sindall to provide our repairs service.

What else you can do

We often get calls from customers about small repairs that they’re expected to fix. As not everyone is a dab hand at DIY, we’ve produced some handy clips with simple-to-follow instructions covering commonly requested odd jobs around the house. If you’re not sure who’s responsible for a particular type of repair, you can find out more in your tenant or leaseholder repairs leaflet.

Reporting a repair on behalf of someone else

You can report a repair on behalf of a Metropolitan resident using this online form or the other channels listed above.
