Report a repair

Please note we will be upgrading Customer Self Serve next weekend and during this time (from 6pm on Friday 21 September until 8am on Monday 24 September), it will be unavailable.

When you log on from next Monday you’ll still be able to do all the same things, including make payments, check your rent account and report repairs, however the pages will look a little different.

You can also:

If it’s an emergency repair, please call us on the phone number above.

When you contact us, please be ready to provide as much detail as you can about the repair and its location.

We aim to deal with repairs as soon as possible – or within 24 hours for emergency cases.

Who carries out repairs?

We have our own dedicated in-house repairs and maintenance team, Metworks, who look after all of our properties across London and the East Midlands. In the East of England we work with contractor Morgan Sindall to provide our repairs service.

What else you can do

We often get calls from customers about small repairs that they’re expected to fix. As not everyone is a dab hand at DIY, we’ve produced some handy clips with simple-to-follow instructions covering commonly requested odd jobs around the house. If you’re not sure who’s responsible for a particular type of repair, you can find out more in your tenant or leaseholder repairs leaflet.

Reporting a repair on behalf of someone else

You can report a repair on behalf of a Metropolitan resident using this online form or the other channels listed above.
