My tenancy

Our service commitment

Residents are entitled to expect fair and equal access to our homes and good management of their tenancies. Our aim is to ensure that:

  • Our homes are let fairly to new applicants and existing residents
  • We provide you with a range of ways to pay your rent, and send you quarterly rent statements to let you know the balance on your account
  • We will support residents who are experiencing difficulty in paying their rent.

What we will do

Allocations

  • We will keep the time that properties are empty between lettings to a minimum.
  • Our homes will be clean, tidy and welcoming when you move in.

Rents and tenure

  • We will visit you six weeks after you move in to check you are settling in, and you understand the terms of your tenancy agreement.
  • If you are in arrears we will offer you support to help you stay in your home.
