Brixton residents have been showing off the fruit (and vegetables) of their labour at a range of community events held this month in the Moorlands Nature Garden Allotment.
The 15-plot allotment is run by housing association Metropolitan, which manages the Moorlands estate.
The organisation is working with local community project Loughborough Farm to organise events and workshops at the allotment for Metropolitan residents – including sessions on making compost and taking care of winter vegetables.
Kingsley Abrams, Neighbourhood Investment Lead at Metropolitan, said: “It’s impressive to see the range of different vegetables grown by residents here. The Moorlands Nature Garden Allotment is a great space for people to learn more about gardening, meet neighbours, and improve their overall health and wellbeing.”
