Station Foyer

The Station Foyer provides hostel accommodation for 20 single refugees. Metropolitan receives funding from Sheffield Council to run the Foyer, which serves as a base for much of our work in Sheffield. All residents sign up to a structured support plan and participate in a resettlement training programme. Once completed, residents are awarded priority points for permanent rehousing by Sheffield Homes.

Residents are encouraged to get involved in volunteering, providing their knowledge and expertise as IT tutors, English language learning mentors, event organisers, cooks, gardeners, fundraisers and much more! Volunteering helps them gain experience, skills and experience and also improves their prospects of securing paid employment.
