Metropolitan’s National Residents’ Group (NRG) has a new chair, Jennifer Corbett

21/08/2012

The NRG helps to shape services, strategy and policy around customer needs and monitors decisions that have been made by the Metropolitan Board.

Jennifer said:

“As Chair of the NRG I will endeavour to be hardworking, honest, inclusive and responsible. I am committed to resolving issues that have already been highlighted as important to residents, now and looking forward. I also want to make sure the NRG is driving the partnership with Metropolitan on behalf of residents and customers so that charges, rents and all other services offer real value for money in these challenging times”.

The NRG will be working together to ensure that they are always providing genuine customer representation and on key concerns which they have outlined in their business plan, including:

  •  the allocation of empty homes
  • asset management and repairs
  • Care and Support
  • complaints, compensation and lessons learnt
  • the Customer Services Centre
  • diversity and equality
  • welfare reform.

Metropolitan welcomes Jennifer to her new role and looks forward to working with her and the rest of the NRG to tackle the issues that are most important to our customers.
