Timber Framed Properties

One in four new homes built in the UK is timber framed, they are considered more eco-friendly than traditionally built houses. Completed buildings, including timber framed homes, meet all current UK regulations and fire standards. They are entirely safe if the fire safety advice is followed.

If your property has been identified as of a timber framed construction, it will be covered and protected by plasterboard which acts as fire protection to the timber framed construction.

It is important that you do not damage or make holes in the plasterboard. If the plasterboard becomes damaged, please let us know immediately
