Make a payment

We rely on the rent and service charge we receive from you to maintain our services and carry out improvements to your home and estate.

That’s why it’s important that you’re able to keep your rent and service charge payments up to date. It’s quick and easy to pay – you can set up a direct debit or standing order, pay online or over the phone, or use your allpay payment card at a Post Office or one of the many PayPoint locations.

Getting a better handle on your finances and finding out whether you’re getting all the financial help you’re entitled to will make it easier for you to keep up to date with your payments. For information, see our advice on managing your finances and check out our benefits calculator.

There are several ways you can pay your rent or service charge. The main methods are:

Direct debit

With direct debit we automatically collect payments from your bank account at regular intervals so you never need to worry about missing a payment. The word allpay will be shown on your bank statement against your payment.

Telephone us on 020 3535 3535 for more information about setting up a direct debit mandate over the phone. Remember, you will need to have a bank or building society account that accepts direct debits.

At any PayPoint location

Use your allpay rent payment card at over 22,000 locations – in newsagents, convenience stores, supermarkets and off-licences, with most open long hours, seven days a week. Find your nearest allpay outlet

Online

You can pay online securely via our partner allpay

All you need is your own valid email address, your allpay rent payment card and a debit or credit card.

Once on the allpay website, you will be asked to enter your payment card number, the long 19 digit code across the centre of the card. All first time users are asked to enter and confirm a password for added security and an email address at which the cardholder can receive payment confirmation.

The payment service accepts payments from debit or credit cards. Please remember that if you pay by credit card you may be charged interest which could make it more difficult for you to afford future payments. When you have completed the transaction, you will receive a confirmation email with a payment reference number.

If you are experiencing difficulties using allpay please contact them directly by email or by telephoning 0844 557 8321.

By telephone

You can pay over the phone by calling us on 020 3535 3535 during office hours or by calling allpay directly on 0844 557 8321 at anytime – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

If you have a debit or credit card, we can take a payment over the phone. Please note you may be charged a fee to complete any transactions using a credit card.  We treat your bank details in complete confidence and write nothing down.

To make a payment via allpay you must have an allpay rent payment card and a debit or credit card.

By text from your mobile

Make a payment anywhere and at any time using your mobile phone with allpay’s secure text message payment system. You now have the flexibility to pay your rent/service charge securely by SMS text, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

To begin securely texting your payments you simply need a UK registered mobile phone, a valid allpay swipe card and a current debit or credit card. After a brief online registration you can pay on the move anytime, anyplace, anywhere.

Once registered, to make a payment, you simply text ‘Pay’ along with a registered text code (for example, ‘Rent’) and the amount you wish to pay (no pound sign), followed by the text password which is the last 4 digits of your debit/credit card. You will then receive a confirmation text message.

Download a smartphone app

Allpay.net have developed an app for Apple and Android smart phones, and are looking to release a version for Blackberry and Windows devices in the future. The app allows you to make an account, view your payment related information and make payments.

The app is free to download and can be used 24 hours a day, anywhere you have 3G or wifi connection. The app will even store your card details protected by a 4 digit pin so you don’t have to enter them each time you want to make a payment.

What are QR Codes?

QR codes or ‘Quick Response Codes’ work in a similar way to barcodes. Apps such as QR Reader for iPhone or QR Barcode Tracker for Android use the camera on your smart phone to ‘read’ the barcode and take you to a specific web page, store page or other piece of information. This saves having to remember a difficult web address. If you don’t have a QR Code reader app installed on your smartphone, or don’t want to download one, you can access the app stores using the iTunes and Google Play links above.
