Get involved

We believe that the best way to deliver a great service to you is to get you involved in how that service is delivered.

There are lots of ways that you can get involved, including:

  • helping shape your support plan to take control of your own destiny
  • having your say on how we plan and deliver our services
  • taking part in activities such as helping us recruit staff or volunteering.

People who get involved have said that it helps them build their skills and confidence.

You can choose how much time you want to spend ‘getting involved’ and we can provide you with support to help you do so.

Ways to get involved

Scrutiny Committee
This group monitors how well we are working with customers across all the areas we work in. The group is made up of customers and staff and meets every three months.

Regional customer groups
These groups give feedback on the services we provide in a particular area. They meet every two or three months and are made up of around 10–15 customers.

Other ways to have your say

  • Helping us decide who to employ

Help to interview people applying to work for us.

  • Checking how our services are running

Visit another service and tell us what you think.

  • Taking part in research

You may be invited to take part in research as part of a group or by being interviewed with your support worker. You can voice your opinion on a certain topic or new project.  These groups may meet once or on a regular basis.

  • Helping plan and run events

Help to plan an event and/or help out on the day.

  • House meetings

These meetings take place in shared supported housing.

  • Helping start a new service

You could help us to bid for funding to start a new service that could benefit other service users.

  • Providing feedback

Simply telling us what you think. If we can improve the service, let us know. You can tell your support worker, call a local office or complete our online form.

  • Peer support

We offer a number of opportunities for customers to support others who are on their road to recovery.
