Metropolitan is focussed on maximising our resources to deliver increased social benefit while minimising our adverse environmental impacts. In April 2012 Metropolitan took a radical view on how to deepen its commitment to a sustainable future. Within a new Sustainability team we will be reflecting our social values in our procurement activity by working more closely with our customers and our supply chain to deliver better ways of working that leverage greater social benefit at lower financial and environmental costs.

Our Social Reponsibility Report 2011 encompasses what would have been our fourth annual report on sustainability. The report demonstrates the progress we are making in providing high quality affordable homes and services for our customers in a sustainable manner that values the diversity of its communities and staff.
Homes of our Times 2011 is our second report into the impact for residents of energy efficiency features in new and retro-fitted homes.
