Making the most of green fingers!

Redwelly is a flagship Metropolitan project with a social purpose that really sums up our commitment to ‘improving life together’.

Working alongside the local community, people with additional care needs, partner organisations and dedicated staff, redwelly transforms underused or neglected space into beautiful community gardens and outdoor areas that are enjoyed by everyone who uses them.

By engaging with local schools, businesses, councils, voluntary sector organisations, customers, community groups and others we can put our hand to all kinds of projects, from gardening, landscaping and design to team building, plant sales and training. • trainee placements/horticultural therapy for adults with learning disabilities
• horticultural workshops and training programmes
• growing and selling plants and flowers
• community outdoor space makeovers
• school grounds makeovers
• garden maintenance (including free service for ex-service personnel, funded by the Royal British Legion)
• team building experiences (clients include Rolls Royce, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service, Derbyshire Constabulary, Lubrizol Ltd, Gala Coral, Enterprise Vehicle Rental, Egg, Apollo, Derbyshire Association for the Blind, Goodrich)
