A new way to pay, download Allpay’s smartphone app

20/11/2012

As well as being able to pay your rent and service charges by Direct Debit, online, by phone, by text or by using an Allpay card in shops and newsagents, you can now pay from your Apple or Android smartphone.

The app is free to download and can be used 24 hours a day, anywhere you have 3G or wifi connection. The app will even store your card details protected by a 4 digit pin so you don’t have to enter them each time you want to make a payment.

What are QR Codes?

QR codes or ‘Quick Response Codes’ work in a similar way to barcodes. Apps such as QR Reader for iPhone or QR Barcode Tracker for Android use the camera on your smart phone to ‘read’ the barcode and take you to a specific web page, store page or other piece of information. This saves having to remember a difficult web address. If you don’t have a QR Code reader app installed on your smartphone, or don’t want to download one, you can access the app stores using the iTunes and Google Play links above.
